Chili Piper, the sales tech pioneer, announced today the appointment of Jim Ensell to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). With more than 20+ years of experience driving category-building marketing strategies in the cloud, SaaS, enterprise and open source spaces, Ensell will lead Chili Piper’s transformation of the B2B Sales industry. This includes driving the adoption of first-of-kind solutions to dramatically improve Sales productivity around scheduling, calendaring and team inbox collaboration.

As a seasoned chief marketing officer, Ensell will lead all global marketing functions at the company. Before joining Chili Piper, Ensell was CMO at Platform9, where he positioned the company as the SaaS-managed hybrid cloud leader in the fast growing Kubernetes container orchestration market, while dramatically growing pipeline and revenue during that time. His career also includes executive leadership roles at Electric Cloud, CollabNet, Coho Data, Virage Logic, eSilicon, and Cadence Design Systems.
