How FieldRoutes Optimized their Inbound Process with Chili Piper

Before Chili Piper

Before Chili Piper, Fieldroutes was using Calendly and GoToMeeting for scheduling. 

However, they faced challenges because Calendly wasn't very dynamic, and didn't have a great integration with Salesforce. 

When someone filled out the form on their site and clicked submit it loaded Calendly. However, since there was no tagging the prospect would have to re-enter the same information again.

This was a bad user experience, and on top of that, there wasn't any way to route these leads. So if the person filling out the form was a current customer, that would get added as a new lead inside of Salesforce, creating duplicates and causing inaccurate assignments. 

How Chili Piper Correctly Routes Prospects

FieldRoutes recently updated their website and added Chili Piper to all their forms. 

Part of the process was adding fields on the forms for lead routing, including which product the prospect is interested in.

As soon as the prospect fills out the form and hits submit, Chili Piper populates the correct BDR. If they are interested in FieldRoute’s pest product, then Chili Piper round robins between the BDRs for that product line. If they are interested in the lawn care solution, then it round robins between the Lawn Care BDRs.

This is a huge win for the team since prospects can fill out the form, and then schedule the meeting instantly with the correct person. It’s a big time-saver for both the BDRs and the customer. 

Chili Piper + RingCentral

Fieldroutes also switched from GoToMeeting to RingCentral so they could use Chili Piper’s RingCentral integration.

The BDRs just click on Chili Piper’s calendar icon and it pulls up Instant Booker and they can schedule with an AE. 

“All they do is choose their meeting type. Once they click on the meeting type everything's pre-populated and because of the RingCentral and Chili Piper integration, so they don't have to do anything. They don't have to go to that person's calendar, find the meeting link, put it in the calendar invite, do any of that. All they have to do is choose the meeting type and click send. I mean, it's that easy,” says Melanie.
