Chili Piper + Salesloft

Here are some ways you can spice up your Salesloft cadences and your qualified sales appointments with Chili Piper:

1. Get the prospect to move in your direction

Once you got a prospect on the call, send the meeting invite in two clicks. And have them accept the meeting. Studies show that once a prospect took some action in your favor (as small as confirming the invite) – the likelihood of them taking more steps in the same direction is higher.

Chili Piper inserts a button in Salesloft linking to the right calendar (the SDR for their own meetings, or the Account Executive for handoff meetings).

A meeting template pre-fills all the details, including the corresponding video conference info. The meeting invite is sent natively from Google or Outlook Calendar. Once you experience this power you won’t want to book meetings in any other way.

Did we mention the meeting is recorded in Salesforce as well?

2. Make it fun and simple for your prospect to book a meeting with you

Most of us like to play video games. We like them because our brain gets a boost of endorphins when we complete things (i.e. capture Pokemon).

In the same fashion, prospects like to click on the meeting slots in the cadences because it’s fun. Once they do, they get the meeting invite instantly sent to their inbox.

And because they get some extra endorphins points, they also accept the invite on the spot.

3. Restrict your booking interval

For most of us, the most important things that need attention are happening within one week span. The next quarter is always in a different box in our minds. The best salespeople already know this and they take advantage by creating deal momentum.

They make sure the time slots they propose are within reach. Some clients in the small business space, go as far as limiting the booking span to 48 hours. Deals move faster in the real world.

4. Create smart cadences

Emergencies do happen, and so sometimes prospects don’t show up to meetings. Make sure you have a smart cadence in place for this scenario.

If a meeting gets marked as no show, automatically activate the awesomeness and get those prospects back in business.

Here’s an example step of a smart no-show cadence.

5. Include calendar links in your signature

You can make it easier for your customers to reach you and add a calendar to your signature.  You can add your own URL (visible under my meetings settings) or a team URL (visible under online booking tab).

The URL should contain the following parameter at the end to allow your prospects to book a meeting in one click: ?id={{email_address}}

See the example below:

Same structure can be used in the body of the email in an email template.

When the prospect books a meeting in one click because they are automatically recognized – the conversion rate dramatically improves.

6. Stop a cadence when a meeting was booked

When a meeting is booked through Chili Piper a particular pre-set field on the lead/contact is changed. See which optional Salesforce fields can be added for this trigger at the end of the setup page.

Use these fields as a trigger in Salesloft to stop your cadences:

7. Automate your reminders

Setup three important reminders :

  • one day before if the meeting was not yet accepted
  • one hour before
  • 1 minute before with the conference details

You’ll reduce your no shows like never before.
