Are you ready for 2023? (AKA the year of efficiency)

Because we've BEEN ready.

With shrinking budgets, there will be a focus on optimizing what you already have and smoothing out all points of friction across the entire funnel.

All of 2022, we've been prepping for 2023 with new product updates, improvements, and integrations... so y'all can live the year to its absolute fullest 🙌

Let's dive in!

One small step for Chili Piper, one big step for lead routing

If you’ve ever spent more time than you should have routing leads, Distro was the gift of 2022.

Distro was launched last year with the goal of bringing an intuitive, easy-to-play routing solution that sparks joy (not fear) every time you log in. Distro seamlessly routes and assigns multiple Salesforce objects, in real-time — making lead routing accurate, simple, and most importantly, a mission conquerable for anyone.

This year, we continued our quest with a few awesome updates that made Distro even better.

We’re letting Distro be your guide

Distro will now be able to guide you through the actions you need to take to successfully publish a router. You don’t need to go through lead routing alone!

Lead routing is significant to every revenue workflow. As Tyler Moore from SwagUp talks about it, “Anything that goes wrong in that could result in leads being dropped or unassigned.” And missed opportunities hurt!

But getting visibility of all the routing workflows and ensuring everything is in order is easier said than done. One day it could just seem like a small wisp of smoke, but very soon you realise that the entire engine room is on fire and you're leaking revenue.

To preempt, avoid and handle such fires, Distro now has a complete readiness kit.

1. De-duping is here

We have joined hands with Plauti so you can keep your CRM clean from duplicate records and route leads with confidence.

2. Auto-syncing any change in Salesforce

No more hitting on a button to trigger a sync with your CRM. With our recent improvements, Distro can automatically update every event in Salesforce. (Did we hear a sigh of relief?)

3. Fallback logic to keep leads hot

Distro notifies the assigned reps through slack and email reminders by default. If no one responds in time, Distro’s SLA kicks in and reassigns to another rep. Distro SLAs are a fallback logic that will ensure all your hot leads are getting the attention they require to convert.

4. Complete visibility into your routing history

You can check the status of each router in Distro logs, maintain filters throughout the user's session in Distro logs, and deep dive into why a lead was routed a certain way. Distro log is the source of truth for all things routing.

5. Keeping Distro and Salesforce like this 🤞

When establishing lead automation rules, it is important for your lead routing tool and Salesforce to have access to the same data. This prevents teams from ineffective processes or doing double work. Chili Piper will dynamically write custom fields to track objects that have been assigned or reassigned by Distro for you to track or run reports.

6. Leads for days

For businesses handling a high volume of leads, one big trouble today is hitting the Salesforce limit on the number of leads you can route. We improved Distro to reduce the likelihood of hitting the limit making it the best in the market.

Book meetings with prospects on G2

Your interested buyers are not just on your website. They are everywhere — review sites, social channels, and communities. And we think you should be able to book a meeting with every one of them on every channel.

As a start, we joined hands with G2 to open up a major source of revenue! With this integration, you can book meetings with qualified prospects from your G2 Profile.
And we’re just getting started! 😉

Gong + Chili Piper Language Support =  🌏

Nothing should stop an interested prospect or customer from booking a meeting with you.

Not language (which is why we support 30 languages across the booking flow).

And definitely not call recording and consent regulations, which vary widely depending on the state and country.  You want to sell to multiple geographies without worrying about and spending time on legal complications.

With the Chili Piper-Gong integration, businesses can schedule meetings, ask for consent before the call, and record the call if consent is granted.

Making managing a breeze for Chili Piper Admins

Chili Piper Admins across every business is our extended teammate. And boy, we want to make Chili Piper a happy experience for all the admins.

Being an admin is power. But as Uncle Ben puts it, with great power comes great responsibility 😉 Handling complex tools can make the responsibility a pain. And eventually, crush the ones maintaining it day in and day out.

Here is a quick checklist/reminder for all the admins out there. If you aren’t using anything of this already, please do. We’re here for you and because of you.

  • Shortcuts: Admins can now manage and assign their Concierge licenses directly from the Admin centre user table

  • Helper: We've added a warning message when you remove a queue rule. It is here to remind you to ensure the queue logic matches the rules. And If you remove a handoff license we will let you know which queues that user will be removed from.

  • Power moves: You can now remove pending invites for invited users, and edit the URL of their users' personal booking links. You can also easily sort the User Table by things like calendar or CRM status, and we’ve added a major piece of functionality for you to select multiple Users and make license or Workspace updates in bulk

Introducing Instant Booker 3.0

Instant Booker came into existence for you to automate scheduling and close deals faster. And to make that experience smoother, we welcomed a few more tweaks to our experience!

You will now be able to see meeting buffers while you’re scheduling a meeting, remove weekends from your calendar view and see a warning when you have reached the booking limit.

With this revamp, we also brought more colours to Instant Booker to differentiate the user and prospect’s calendar!

Improving Chili Piper’s fluency in your tech stack language

HubSpot Integration

  • Chili Piper and HubSpot now speak with each other faster than ever. We’ve optimised requests that Chili Piper makes to your HubSpot to avoid unnecessarily hitting rate limits.
  • Chili Piper can now update the "Outcome" property on Engagements in HubSpot! When a meeting is marked as a "no-show", cancelled, or rescheduled, we will update the Engagement accordingly

  • You can now pull a report on the type of meeting booked as Chili Piper can write to the “Meeting Type” property on Engagements.

  • HubSpot CRM admins can choose whether they want the Booker (default) or the Assignee to be written to the “Scheduled by” user on Engagements created by Chili Piper.

Salesforce Integration

  • Additional guests added to the meeting on the booking flow in Chili Piper that are Salesforce contacts or leads will be added to Salesforce, under the standard Invitee Section.

  • Users can now control whether to add additional guests to Events created in Salesforce at the personal workspace level within CRM Actions

SAML/SSO Microsoft Office 365 and Rippling

If you’re anything like me, you hate when it takes five minutes of figuring out how to log in for before you actually get into the app.

So at Chili Piper, we made things easier! If you’re a  Microsoft Office 365 or Rippling customer, logging into Chili Piper happens in one click with SAML/SSO.

Supporting screen readers

Warm story alert! Earlier this year we had a customer whose sales prospects are disabled or cater to the disabled, and it was necessary for their business to use a scheduling tool that caters to disabled web users.

For us, it’s important to make scheduling easy for everyone. Now, Chili Piper's core booking flow is more supportive of keyboard and screen reader prospects. And it's easier than ever to tab through and select dates and times.
